Welcome to KVTDC
KVTDC
was established in 1976 primarily to regulate the residential
development during which agriculture was the overwhelming economic
activity of the valley. But, since then, the basic economic activities
of the valley have radically changed from agriculture and small
traditional craft based to more extensive and manufacturing sector.
Kathmandu Valley Town Development Committee (KVTDC) is embarking upon extreme challenging endeavor, trying to manage the present as well as future growth of the Kathmandu Valley. In order to manage the present as well as the future growth of the Kathmandu Valley, KVTDC has enforcing different activities such as the land development activities, open space development, public land preservation, Integrated Development Plan and Programme for VDCs, etc.
